About Diyas

Diyas are symbolically lit during prayers, rituals, and ceremonies, permanent fixtures in homes and temples. The bright glow emitted from a diya is considered auspicious, regarded to represent enlightenment and prosperity. They represent the triumph of light over dark and good over evil. Diwali is celebrated every year with these diyas, the story of good overcoming evil, as told in the Hindu epic, the Ramayana.
